COMPILATION KICKS OFF NEW LABEL
01/18/07 - A new record label has reared it's ugly

With the label's first two signings on the way, F-Bomb's staff decided to put out a compilation album in order to introduce themselves to the unsuspecting general public.
Available now is the first in a series of comp cd's called 'If It Ain't Broke ... Hit It Harder!' featuring some of the coolest DIY bands in Arizona and California such as the legendary Glass Heroes, Kamikaze Radio, melodic punkers Liquid Image, Slighter, Idiotkin and more.
Be sure to head over to www.fbombrecords.com for more info and to download Lennore's "Falling Star" for free! While there be sure to sign up for the label's "F-List" to receive special discounts on future releases and to get F-Bomb news before anyone else!
BREAK POINT'S 'FIRST SERVING' OFFERS UP A SECOND HELPING
01/13/07 - A quarter century after it's initial release,
'First Serving' the cult classic album from German/British/American
quintet Break Point is getting the re-issue treatment from Regeneration
Records with all new artwork and remastered by Danny Danzi at DanziLand
Studios.
Formed in late 1979 in Frankfurt, Germany the band quickly became a top draw on the lucrative US military club circuit throughout the country due to their powerful live presence and above par musicianship. Within a year they managed to gather the money necessary to go into Frankfurt's Cream Studios and record an album that over time would go on to sell more than 5,000 copies. Self produced, 'First Serving' was influenced by the likes of Toto, Kansas, Styx and the popular AOR bands of the era. Songs such as the poppy "Hard Road" and "The Best Of Me" along with the quirky "French Fried Kiss" became instant concert favourites while progressive rock fans found a coupling with "Down, Down, Down" and "The Wurst Song."
Selling out shows across the country year in and out earned Break Point the respect of concert promoters, who put the band forward for the opening slot on Mother's Finest's 1983 summer tour. Winning over new fans night after night can only bring positive results and the band was soon after flown to the Southwestern United States to open a string of shows for a popular hard rock act called Sabotage from Texas. Despite the musical differences Break Point once again came away with an arsenal of new fans. During this run they also opened several dates on Australian pop star Billy Thorpe's ("Children Of The Sun") US tour.
Upon returning to Frankfurt Break Point continued writing new material and once again hit their familiar clubs when their charismatic frontman, Daved Hallcom (the lone American in the band) left to return to the States. While it was a bit of a blow to the band's fanbase the remainng members didn't miss a beat, bringing in English singer Steve Tolley. A dynamic frontman in his own right, Tolley had built a name for himself playing the same clubs as Break Point as the lead guitarist / singer for the band Dizzy Heights.
With Tolley on board the band continued storming the club circuit and attracted the interest of Rocshire / MCA Records president Peter Hauke. A top producer, having worked on albums from the likes of Tony Carey, Nektar, Max Carl, Planet P and others, Hauke helmed a four song demo at his own Hotline Studios. Rocshire offered the band a deal which they were advised to reject and they and Hauke went their separate ways.
Shortly thereafter keyboardist Martin Gerschwitz left the band and relocated to Los Angeles where he found quick success performing with the likes of Tim Bogert, Loverboy and Eddie Van Halen. In due time Martin would find himself alongside artists such as Lita Ford, Meat Loaf, Walter Trout, Vanilla Fudge and Eric Burdon & The Animals.
While Break Point enjoyed success as a quartet, bassist Jim Stacey soon found himself joining legendary metal band Accept as the second guitarist on their 'Eat The Heat' album and tour.
Singer Steve Tolley left Break Point several months later and the band parted ways soon after, bringing an end to a decade long run for a band who were one of the few that can say they found success on their own terms.

TIGERTAILZ' BASSIST ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL
9/22/06 - After weeks of struggling with acute stomach pain, Tigertailz
bassist, Pepsi Tate was admitted into hospital earlier this week.
Following a detailed medical examination, Tate has been diagnosed with
a
severe stomach condition that has lead to internal muscle seizure.
Pepsi
is now being treated with heavy medication but is expected to make a
full
recovery in a few weeks. Unfortunately, this means that Pepsi will not
be
able to travel to Spain next week for the shows in Bilbao, Madrid and
Barcelona (28-30 September).
Neither Pepsi or the rest of the band want to cancel the shows so all
have
agreed to go ahead and play the shows using a temporary Bass player.
Glen
‘Nailz’ Quinn has kindly stepped up to the plate and agreed to play
bass
for these Spanish shows. Glen has a long friendship with the Tailz and
was
the guitarist in local 80’s Glam band City Kidds. Pepsi is expected to
make a full recovery in time for the Wildside Festival in Nottingham in
November.
Message from Kim, Jay and Matt – “we would all like to pass on our best wishes to Pepsi and hope he makes a full recovery soon. What’s important here is that he gets well as soon as possible. Playing shows without him is going to be totally weird but none of us want to cancel the Spanish dates at this late stage and disappoint the fans. We would like to thank Glen for helping us out and we’re very grateful to him for stepping in at such short notice. We hope all you Spanish maniacs won’t be too disappointed in not seeing Pepsi but we can assure you the shows will be a full-on Tailz Rock n Roll Party.. No question! We’ll see you all next week!”

KERRANG! COMES THROUGH YET AGAIN FOR TIGERTAILZ!
8/30/06 - Will Tigertailz work their way into the hearts of today's
trendy
teens?? First a 4K live review and now praise through and through for
the
'Bezerk 2.0' masterpiece:
TIGERTAILZ
BEZERK 2.0
(DEMOLITION)
KKKK
GOLD STAR COMEBACK ALBUM FROM REUNITED GLAM METALLERS
COMPLETELY FAITHFUL to the spirit of 1990’s classic ‘Bezerk’, but
boasting
a massively better production, the returning Tigertailz – glammed-up
masters of monster hooks – demonstrate a perfect understanding of what
their audience wants. Who cares if it’s been over a decade - amid
today’s
understated rock scene, Tigertailz stand about as high as Kilimanjaro
and
are, when they want to be, every bit as heavy. ‘Falling Down’ invokes
tribal chants, ‘One Beat Of Your Heart’ dances and glitters while the
colossal ‘Make Me Bleed’ pulses with steely glamour. It all climaxes
with
‘Dirty Needlez’, a knowingly OTT metallic maelstrom that few bands
would
contemplate. ‘Bezerk 2.0’ is as epic as Queensryche and as immediate as
The Automatic. What is that coming over the hill?
PETE EVICK SIGNS WITH BABICZ GUITARS

Down", the lead single from the new 'Bezerk 2.0' album, tomorrow. Shot

EVICK MEMBERS DISCUSS NEW ALBUM DETAILS
7/20/06 - Evick has been hard at work on their new album 'Real Thing'
but
the band is taking a different approach to the writing and recording
process this time around. One of the hardest working bands in the rock
world, Evick has decided to road test the material for the third album
and
while it has proven to be a time consuming process it is well worth it,
according to band namesake, Pete Evick. "On 'Anachronism' and 'Sunset
To
Sunset' we wrote and recorded everything and then took it on the road,
"
tells Pete. "This time we're doing it the opposite way and writing the
stuff and then taking it out for a few weeks. If all goes well, we
come
back home and track it. If we think some changes need to be made then
we
work on the songs a bit more. Songs evolve over time and we always find
ourselves wanting to re-record them. This time we're cutting through to
the chase."
Evick is also trying to stretch its boundaries and make a record that has more versatility and color to it this time around. "Many albums these days seem to sound the same from start to finish, " says Evick drummer, Chuck Fanslau. "One of Pete's biggest influences is Van Halen and while you always knew it was Van Halen, you would have one record that would have something heavy and fast like "I'm The One" or "Atomic Punk", and then turn around and have the tongue and cheek fun of something like "Ice Cream Man" or even the feel good pop fashion of a song like "Feel Your Love Tonight" and that's what we want to bring to 'Real Thing.' We want that flexibility while still keeping our signature sound."
'Real Thing' is scheduled to drop in the spring of 2007, with the album's title track being released as a single in January.ff

upcoming album, 'Believe.' The video for "Just A Girl" will be
directed

TIGERTAILZ GIG GETS 4K REVIEW IN KERRANG! MAGAZINE
5/19/06 - Welsh hard rockers Tigertailz have achieved the unthinkable
by
being awarded a killer 4K review in modern rock magazine Kerrang! With
Tigertailz being so far removed from what Kerrang! covers in this day
and
age this is a remarkable feat. The review reads as follows:
TIGERTAILZ
ROCK CITY, NOTTINGHAM
08.04.06
KKKK
ODDS-DEFYING COMEBACK FROM WELSH GLAM HEROES
AS THE Nineties dawned, Tigertailz were on the fast track to stardom.
Unlike the tedious parade of bandana wearing Aerosmith clones, you
could
spot a Tigertailz song from miles away. Evil riffs that could poke your
eyes out, massed choruses that brought a new meaning to the word
‘huge’,
and a sense of celebratory excess not equalled until The Darkness.
Grunge
left it gutted and stupidly forgotten.
Sensing a change of season, three of the classic ‘Bezerk’ line-up are
back, and the sight of this packed venue must have rejuvenated them yet
further. Not that they need it – frontman Kim Hooker looks as if he’s
just
stepped out of a time machine dated 1990. Hooker’s high notes, high
kicks
and indefinable coolness rule the roost as Tigertailz pour out monster
melodies, reaching delirious peaks that send this crowd properly
apeshit.
There’s the spectacularly silly ‘Love Bomb Baby’, the semi-thrash punk
splurge of ‘TYFHO’ and a heads-down ferocious ‘Dirty Needles’. Two
excellent new songs say much about the intent of this comeback, and
there’s energy and banter throughout. While persistently entertaining,
there’s also something absurdly emotional about it all. As if, somehow,
this is how it was always meant to be.
EVICK MEMBERS DO DEAL WITH KUSTOM AMPLIFICATION
5/10/06 - Evick guitarists Pete Evick and Brad Puckett have signed with

Rich
Eckhardt of Toby Keith, Paolo Gregoletto of Trivium, Bryce Siderberg of
Lifehouse and Johnny and Donnie Van Zant among others.
TIGERTAILZ TO APPEAR AT SPAIN'S LORCA ROCK FESTIVAL
4/7/06 - Continuing their timely ascent back to the top of the British
and
European concert circuit, Welsh hard rock icons Tigertailz have
accepted
an offer to play at the prestigious Spanish festival Lorca Rock on June
17. Appearing alongside such legendary acts as Whitesnake, Twisted
Sister
and Exodus as well as hot current metal bands Gotthard, Chris Caffery
(Savatage guitarist), Devildriver and others. The quartet, led by
dynamic
frontman Kim Hooker, play the festival in support of their new 'Bezerk
2.0' album, due for release in autumn through WTO Records / Zero Music
Group.
ALLEYCAT SCRATCH RETURN TO TRASH CITY
3/23/06 Cult sleaze rockers Alleycat Scratch made the long lonely trek from the Bay Area of California to the City of Angels (and smog, crime and shattered dreams) in the early 90's to make
a name for themselves. And make a name they did. Hailed as one of the
top indie glam acts to take the stage, the quartet released their sole album to date, the bombastic 'Deadboys In Trash City' in 1993 to a wealth of global fan and critical acclaim.
Unfortunately for the band, just as the music industry started to take notice of Alleycat Scratch the musical tide changed and the momentum the band had built suddenly ground to a halt and the band had very few options available to them. In April of 1994 the inevitable happened and Alleycat Scratch pulled the claws out one last time for a packed show at Los Angeles' famed nightclub The Troubadour. It was their last stand and they went down fighting as a screaming, blood thirsty audience showed Eddie Robison, Devin Lovelace, Bobby "Boa" Dias and Robbi Black their appreciation by giving their heroes a drunken orgy of a send off that many of their Sunset Strip predecessors would have been envious of.
Thirteen years later the time has come for the world to revisit the 'Deadboys In Trash City' album via a special CD/DVD package from new reissue label Regeneration Records. Featuring updated artwork, the original ten songs plus two bonus tracks (a cover of The Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays" and the infamous "Love Song" from the X Rated"Backdoor To The City Of Sin" film) and a DVD comprised of live footage and extra goodies, the package will be unleashed in May of 2006 and will be the flagship release for Regeneration.

ZERO MUSIC GROUP LAUNCHES
3/21/06 Zero Music Group launches! Taking advantage of the clean slate provided by evolving technologies, modern music marketing trends and diversity, Zero Music Group is poised to become a leader in the new crop of music companies. Its slogan is simple. "It starts here" emphasizes the concept of being a major launching pad for its artists, both new and veteran. The company sees this as a very real possibility considering its powerful global distribution.
The label group consists of four music labels - WTO Records, F-BOMB Records, Regeneration Records and Zero Digital Music.
WTO Records' main focus is around up-and-coming mainstream rock and pop artists. With one eye on longterm artist development and the other on breaking artists through new and exciting ventures and media channels, WTO is a company to keep a watch out for. First artist signings include 14 year old pop rock artist Tiffany Nicole, Washington, DC's hardest working rock band, Evick and UK hard rock icons Tigertailz.
F-Bomb Records is all about street cred. Music that's just a little bit ugly and unsavory put out by bands that your parents would rather lock you away from than have you hang with. The label plans to launch with a series of compilation albums in early Summer 2006.
Regeneration Records is a specialty label dealing with re-issues of primarily 80's and 90's independently released rock albums from acts that could have - and should have - been much more successful if their timing had just been a bit better or if they had been presented with a larger budget at the time or any of a number of other factors that stood in their collective paths. Early signings include Los Angeles glamsters Alleycat Scratch, German based multi-national AOR act Break Point and Seattle area metal masters Hammer Head.
Zero Digital Music embraces 21st Century technology full force. While acting as a traditional record label in terms of promotion and artist relations, sales is where it all differs as the only way to purchase the music is to download it from ZDM's secure server. Along with developing it's own artist roster, ZDM will be accessible to other artists and labels for digital distribution services. The first signing to Zero Digital Music is Las Vegas techno wizard Ustelo.
